Dear Visitors,
Welcome to our website.  Thank you for taking the time to take a look at what Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School has to offer.  Our goal is to provide the best possible educational experience for our students – one that is surrounded and nurtured in faith, values and traditions.  We are proud of our students and their accomplishments.

Our Lady of Lourdes:
  • Is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and SACS (the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools)
  • Offers an environment that fosters the spiritual, moral and intellectual development of each child
  • Prepares students academically so that they score consistently in the top-quartile on national standardized tests
  • Offers small class sizes to increase the potential for student success
  • Provides a safe environment which allows teachers and student to focus on academics
  • Prepares graduates to achieve personal goals.  (Most OLOL graduates attend college preparatory secondary schools such as Pacelli Catholic High School, Brookstone Academy, or the Muscogee County high school magnet programs at Northside High School, Hardaway High School or Columbus High School)
  • Offers the great gift of diversity that allows us to live and learn in an environment that reflects the true make-up of our world and society
  • Provides for the ability to learn and grow in an environment that is centered around the Ten Commandments and focuses on daily expressions of faith
  • Emphasizes that service to others is a way to live out our responsibilities as Christians or people of faith. Faith development is not an added subject, but integrated into our day to day experiences
  • Offers enrichment opportunities in areas of sports for middle school, leadership, social, creative and service opportunities. Some examples are basketball and cheerleading, Student Council, Youth Advisory Council, Altar Servers, Jr. Beta Club, Journalism Club, and Boy/Girl Scouts (to name a few)
  • Provides for the needs of busy, working families through our Before and After School Care Program
  • Following the Catholic tradition, students wear school uniforms and participate in weekly religious services
  • Provides numerous opportunities for students to extend education outside the classroom
  • Participates in a Partnership In Education Program with TIC Federal Credit Union
I encourage you to visit our school and meet with our students and faculty.  Please contact our school office to schedule your visit.  We welcome your inquiry and look forward to the possibility of including you in the Lourdes family.

Sincerely,

Diana Hankins,
Principal
